The
mystery reader, like the romance, horror, fantasy or science fiction reader, has
certain expectations when they pick up a book. They want to be entertained.
They want memorable characters and a fast-paced plot. They want a satisfying ending.
Pity
the writer who fails to deliver the goods! A decline in readership and sales
could be on the horizon.
Today
is day 2 of the Mystery We Write Blog Tour and I’m discussing why readers read
mysteries with Ron Benrey.
Drop
by his blog, leave a comment and you’ll be eligible to win one of three
e-copies of FRANK,
INCENSE AND MURIEL, the first book of my Muriel Reeves Mysteries. (Or, you
can also leave a comment here.) The winners will be announced December 9.
What
is being said about Frank, Incense and Muriel?

“This author knows how to entertain her
readers and keeps them wanting to turn the page to see what happens next. If
you’re looking for a story with a little bit of humor, a whole lot of suspense
and plenty of insanity, then you’ve found the perfect story. I’m highly
recommending this story to other readers and I’m definitely adding this book to
my library. You won’t be disappointed buying this book or others penned by this
author. Great job, Ms. Albert! Keep the stories coming!”
See
you at Ron Benrey's blog. Good luck in the draw and happy reading!
